This story is about Orange predator “Uncle> Sam” from the U.S., who crashes a Celebration of Life in Mexico.  But June bug Salma teams up with the courageous human Lila to lead the resistance.

You might even check your visa status.”  This provocative work brims with humor, heart, and heat, exploring the messy, magical complexity of human connection. Performed in English, it is suitable for teen and adult audiences.

On International Women’s Day, March 8, 2026, Act2PV Theater in Puerto Vallarta proudly presents the Mexican premiere of La Cucaracha. (The play previously opened the PlayGround Fringe-style San Francisco Free-Play Festival at Potrero Stage in August 2025, where it set a record: “La Cucaracha had the highest attendance of any show in Free-Play Festival history!”)  Rumor has it that people are actually buying airline tickets to come to Puerto Vallarta just to see this show!! WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE BOOK YOUR TICKET:

• Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your show.
• You may not bring food or drinks into the theater.
• Our theaters are located on the second floor, and there is no elevator. Our staff will always help people to get up the stairs, if necessary Call 322-222-1512 or send a message to info@act2pv.com if you need help.
• Act2PV has a 2-drink minimum consumption rule.
• There is A NO SMOKING RULE in all areas of the theater, inside and out. Smoking is strictly forbidden.
• Children over the age of 4 must have a ticket to get into the show.
• FYI: Act2PV is a LIVE theater. Sometimes we have to cancel a show because a performer is sick, or for other emergencies. If a show is canceled, we will refund your ticket and will advise you via email or phone call when a show is canceled.

REFUNDS ARE NOT OFFERED UNLESS THE SHOW IS CANCELED BY THE THEATER.
