LINA KOUTRAKOS launched her 40-year career with her own rock band in decades-long residencies at the legendary Bottom Line and Joe’s Pub, followed by sold-out shows at BB King’s and Fez. She garnered multiple pop songwriting awards while simultaneously presenting her cabaret shows at the Metropolitan Room, 54 Below, and the Waldorf Astoria. She had extensive tours in both genres in St. Louis; Chicago; Washington, DC; Paris; Las Vegas; and more. Her eclectic talents received rave reviews from The New York Post, The Daily News, The New York Times, and Billboard Magazine.

Her awards began with the Village Voice’s Best Rock Newcomer. She has won 10 MAC Awards including Best Director and Best Vocalist from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets, five Backstage Bistro Awards, and France’s Le Petit Piaf. In 2019 Lina received the National Honoree award by the Chicago Cabaret Professionals. She is most recently the recipient of the 2024 Darrell Henline Award from the American Songbook Association fro Excellence and Distinction in Cabaret.
