YOU, our Subscribers, Patrons, and Sustaining Donors, are the lifeblood of the theater, and I mean of ALL theater, EVERYWHERE. Theater sponsorship is a time-honored tradition as old as theater itself. Shakespeare would not have had a career were it not for the sponsorship he received from his benefactors, nor would modern-day playwright, Terrence McNally. As world-class mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne famously said, \u201cWhen you see a young promising artist, just throw money at them. THAT\u2019S what they need the \u00a0most!\u201d The same is true for regional theater around the world. In fact, I don\u2019t know of a single major theater, in any country, that does not rely on its subscription base and donorship population.<\/span><\/p>\n
